Patient Notice

Over the next few months there are going to be some changes to our Staff, as most of you know:

Dr Holmes has now retired.

Dr Malik is leaving at the end of May and

Dr Scott will be reducing his sessions in May.

Our new GP Dr Satish has now joined the Practice.

GP Forums

Periodically the GP's are invited to attend GP Forums, this is when all the GP's from West Norfolk get together and attend meetings, listen to speakers and get crucial updates.

The impact on the surgery means that on these days there are no GP's on the premises in the afternoon.  The surgery and the Dispensary remain open, however the telephones are diverted to 111 in case there are emergencies. The next Forums are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday 16th January 2019

Wednesday 20th February 2019

Thursday 4th April 2019

Thank you

Have now finished, please call the surgery and book in to have your flu jab!

Repeat Prescriptions

You may notice that the quantities of your medication has been changed. We are currently in the process of changing all our patients' repeat prescriptions to a 28 day supply, in accordance with government and CCG guidelines and recommendations. This will also help patients manage their repeat orders and avoid unnecessary wastage.

Please can all patients be aware that we are unable to take repeat prescription requests over the phone, apart from in exceptional circumstances. If you need to order medication from your repeat prescription, please drop into surgery and let our dispensary know. If you have lost your repeat prescription slip, please write down what you need reordering on a piece of paper, and dispensary will treat that as a normal repeat prescription slip. Many thanks for your cooperation.
