Did Not Attend Appointments
Did not Attend (DNA) appointments are a growing problem within the NHS. 12.6 million GP appointments and 4.3 million nurse’s appointments are missed every year.
In 2018 Bridge Street Surgery has had 1458 missed appointments with 140 in January 2019.
Each missed GP appointment costs the NHS £45
That’s a total loss of £65,610.00 for Bridge Street surgery alone in 2018.
Please if you know you won’t be able to attend an appointment cancel it.
Your cancelled appointment may save someone else’s life.
If you are not able to attend an appointment you have booked, for whatever reason, please let us know. We can then offer that appointment to someone else that needs it.

We currently have an active Patient Participation Group. If you would be interested in having a say about the range and quality of services we provide, then please sign up for our group via the link to the right of this web page or speak to Reception regarding a form. We are very keen to ensure that the views of our patients are heard when providing Healthcare.
We have recently changed the appearance and layout of our surgery website, so hopefully this will make navigation much easier. If you have any feedback regarding the website (appearance/content etc), please let us know.
